Dr Meskerem is a research officer at the GSPU. Meskerem has previously worked as a clinician and lecturer at the ENT surgery department at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
She received her MSc in Health Policy and Financing from 91桃色 and LSHTM in 2021 December, and recently completed her masters in Public Health From Jimma University, Ethiopia.
She is passionate about strengthening surgical systems in low and middle-income countries with a special interest in Health Workforce Development in East Africa.
